Enterprise-Grade Calc Recovery Tool For Quick ODS Repair
An ODS (OpenDocument Spreadsheet) file is an open format for saving structure, images, and advanced-configuration metadata in its specialized XML-based compressed ZIP container. Most commonly, it is created using LibreOffice Calc and Apache OpenOffice and serves as a universal analog to the proprietary .xlsx format used by Microsoft Excel. Its component structure, which needs to be recovered using the SysInfo ODS Repair Wizard, is divided into two parts:
- Raw text, integer or decimal numbers, currency, dates, and times (Tabular data)
- Advanced statistical, financial, or logical cell formulas using OpenFormula language (Mathematical values)
- Line charts, bar and other graphs, vector shapes, logos, and raster images (Dynamic visual elements)
- Pivot tables, multi-sheet links, custom filters, and validation rules (Advanced analysis)
- Conditional cell formatting rules, bg colors, custom fonts, borders, alignment parameters, & print range setups (Presentation styles)
- Actual sheets, column or row definitions, cell strings, values, and Excel spreadsheet formulas (Content.xml)
- Global font templates, structural themes, page orientations, and custom styling rules in workbook (Styles.xml)
- Document footprint metadata, including the file author, date of creation, last edit timestamp, software version, & user stats (Meta.xml)
- Custom user interface properties like window zoom levels, current active tabs, and frozen panes (Settings.xml)
