Follow this step-by-step guide to migrate your OLM to Office 365 in just no time
Step-1:
Install and Run the Tool

Launch the OLM to Office 365 Importer as an administrator on your system.

Verify and Use File Options
  • Click the buttons Select OLM File(s) and Select Folder to add the single or multiple OLM files or folders with many OLMs from the system.
  • Or, drag and drop the Outlook OLM emails for conversion from the system.
  • Press the Remove Selected and Clear List buttons to remove files from the software if added accidentally.

Step-3:
Load OLM Files/Folders

Browse the OLM files/folders and click Open to add them. Once done, tap Proceed to move ahead.

Step-4:
Expand Tree Structure

Once the OLM file is added, click Expand All Folders to check all the files and folders in the uploaded file.

Preview OLM Files
  • Use the Search Folders option to find a specific folder in the tree with a keyword.
  • Try the Advanced Search option to locate specific emails using a keyword based on To, From, or Subject.
  • Double-click the file and preview data by Plain Text, Attachment, Calendar, Contact, Header, MIME, and Raw HTML.

Step-6:
Browser Preview

Check the box beside the Open in browser (if preview fails) option, and verify OLM data for added files and folders to verify integrity.

Choose OLM to Convert

Select the files and folders to convert from the expanded tree. Use Collapse All Folders to sum up the tree view (if needed). Then, press Proceed.

Choose Saving Client

Further, pick Microsoft 365 to secure your OLM emails in the cloud from the list of Export email clients.

Login Microsoft 365

Now, enter your Microsoft 365 Admin Account ID and select the option to use OAuth 2.0 Authentication for easy and quick sign-in. Tap Authenticate.

Verify Office 365 Account

You will be redirected to the browser, select your account, and enter the password to complete the verification. A message appears after verification.

Alternative Login Method

If you do not opt for Modern OAuth 2.0 Authentication, then you can log in another way. Enter your Microsoft 365 ID, Client ID, Secret Value, and Tenant ID, and then tap Authenticate.

Fetch User Accounts

The software will fetch all the user account IDs present in your Office 365 account with the Automatic Fetch User IDs option. You can find specific account ID by Search User option. Select target IDs where you want to save the OLM data.

CSV O365 ID Import

If you want to manually add specific Office 365 source accounts, then choose the CSV Import option. Click Sample CSV to see how you need to add the account entries, and Import CSV for file upload. Select user accounts and tap Next.

Apply General Settings

Either way you choose to log in to Microsoft 365, you will receive the same filter options. These are:

  • Date Range Filter: The user has the option to migrate selective emails in a certain time period by adding a start and an end date.
  • Custom Output Folder: Assign a custom name to the newly created folder for quick identification at the destination.
  • Skip Existing Exports: To avoid the OLM files that have already been converted once for no duplicacy. If none exists, a pop-up appears; click OK.
  • Follow Tree Hierarchy: To save the OLM emails in Office 365 in the same order as presented earlier in the tree view.
  • Mapped with default mailboxes: To store the particular folder data in particular Office 365 folders, accurately mapped as Inbox→ Inbox, Drafts→Drafts, and so on.

Step-15:
Apply Advanced Controls

Here, you only get the filter for Duplicate Detection on the basis of To, From, Subject, Body, and CC to remove redundancy before the export.

Step-16:
Migrate OLM to Gmail

Finally, click Start Export to initiate the process of OLM email migration. You will receive a pop-up stating that all folders were created successfully. Click OK.

Step-17:
Halt Process (Optional)

Check the progress of the migration in the Status tab. Press the Stop Process button if you wish to halt in between for any reason. (optional)

Step-18:
Download Report

In the end, you can check the migration status.

  • Press Close when the pop-up for export completion appears.
  • Use the Export Log button to download a complete CSV report of the migration process.
  • Also, press Start New Export to restart the OLM file conversion as required.
