User Manual Guide for SysInfo Mac PST Splitter Software

1. Overview

Sysinfo Mac PST Splitter is designed to Split Large Sized PST file on a Mac operating system. The user has the option to Split and save PST file on the basis of Date, Size, Sender’s Email, and Folders. Splitting large PST files eliminates the chances of corruption of data. There is no file size limitation with this tool. It can split PST files in GBs irrespective of the sizes. If the PST file is compressed or password protected then too the user can split it. The best feature of this software is that it is specially made for Mac users and it runs smooth and fast on a mac operating system.

2. User Interface

The First Screen that will appear after Launching the software will be as below: Easy and Uncomplicated.

2.1 Button

Add File(s) Button- Add PST Files to the Software.

Add Folder(s) Button- Add Folder or Folders in the Software.

Remove Button- Removes Added PST Files or Folders from the Software.

Remove All Button- Removes All PST files or Folders at once.

Split Button- Splits PST Files.

Preview Button- Previews the Data of the PST File.

Next button- Used for Moving to the Next Step.

Back Button- Used for Moving to the Previous Step.

Stop Button- Stops the ongoing Process in the Middle.

Close Button- Closes the Application.

Purchase Button- Used for Purchasing Mac PST Splitter Tool

Help Button- Opens Software Manual.

About Button- Tells the Details of the Software.

4. Activate Software

After clicking on the " Get Authentication Code " button, by default a .info file will be saved on your desktop. Mail the created .info file at sales@sysinfotools.com, after getting file the sales department will send you the activation key for the Mac PST Splitter Software within a couple of minutes.

5. Software Working

5.1. Splitting PST Files on the Basis of Email

Download and Launch Mac PST Splitter Software on the PC.
Click on Add Files Button to add PST Files and then on Next.
Once the Files are added successfully, the user will receive a Confirmation Message.
Now Select Split by Sender Email ID option and Click on Next button.
Check Ignore Duplicate Mails option and Click on the Split button.
Note*- The User can Add a specific email address by clicking on Add Email Address button.
A Confirmation Message will appear once all the PST Files Splits on Email Basis.
Browse the Split PST File location and Save them.

5.2.Splitting PST Files on the Basis of Date

Add PST Files and Select Split by Date option. Click on Next button to Continue.
Enter the From and To Date for which the PST File has to be Split and browse the saving location.
Click on Split Button and wait for the process to complete.
Once the process completes, a confirmation message appears that the PST files have been saved.

5.3. For Splitting PST Files on the Basis of Folder

Add the Large PST file to the Software. Select Split by Folder option and Click on Next button to continue.
Select the Saving type option. Choose Single PST option for saving all data in one PST file or Separate PST for Selected Folder option for saving PST on the basis of folders.
Click on Preview button to view all the folders and subfolders and then click on Split Button.
Wait until the whole process completes. Check the progress in the Bar.
Note*- Don’t Interrupt in Between.
A Confirmation Message will appear once the whole process completes.

5.4. For Splitting PST File on the Basis of Size

Add an Oversized PST file into the Software and Select Split by Size option. Click on Next Button to continue further.
Select the Size in MB or GB for which each PST file has to be split. Click on the Split button to start the process.
Wait until the Saving Process completes
Once the Saving process completes, a confirmation Message will appear.
After Splitting the PST File close the application. Click on Close button and confirm to Yes.
