Know the Steps to Split Lotus Notes NSF files using SysInfo NSF Split Tool

• Step 1: Start the NSF Split Tool as an administrator on your system.
  
• Step 2: Click on the Browse button to add the Lotus Notes NSF file.
  
• Step 3: Choose the NSF Database file from the system to split and click on the Open button.
  
• Step 4: The selected NSF file will be displayed in the utility wizard. Click Next to proceed further.
  
• Step 5: Now, the tool is processing all the added NSF mailbox folders. Wait for its completion.
  
• Step 6: Here, you can view the NSF file name, NSF file size(Bytes), and the total number of mails. Click Next to continue.
  
• Step 7: The software shows you the entire NSF Database data in a tree structure. Select the folders you want to save.

• Step 9: Opt for the Split NSF file by size option from the list and click Next.
  
• Step 10: Enter the NSF file size to split the selected NSF file into MB or GB.
  
• Step 11: After that, select the directory path to save the output file containing split NSF files.
  
• Step 12: Click on the Split NSF file button to start the breaking process.
  
• Step 13: The software shows you a pop-up Demo version that will only select the first 25 items of each NSF folder.
  
• Step 14: Wait till the splitting process gets completed.
  
• Step 15: Finally, you will find a pop-up tab showing the splitting process for a selected file has been done successfully.
  

Steps to Split NSF file By Date

Follow the steps from 1 to 8 and then go along with the below-given steps to split the NSF file based on Date.

• Step 9: Choose Split NSF file based on Date and click the Next button.
  
• Step 10: Now, select the date and time range to split the selected NSF file:
  
• Step 11: : Opt for the Predefined period option and select the required Dates from the drop-down list.
  
• Step 12: Suppose you select the Define period manually, then add the range using the Start Date and End Date option.
  
• Step 13: After selecting the required date range, use these buttons:
  
  • Add:- Click on this to add the chosen date range to the list.
  • Remove:- Click on this to exclude the added date ranges.
  
  
• Step 14: Here, you can create a single or separate NSF file of selected folders. Click Next.
  
• Step 15: Allocate the destination pathof the output folder by clicking on the browse button.
  
• Step 16: Click on the Split NSF file button to start the splitting process based on a date range.
  
• Step 17: Finally, you will find a pop-up tab displaying a message the splitting process for a selected file has been done successfully.
  

Steps to Split NSF file By Sender Email Id

Follow the steps from 1 to 8 and then go along with the below-given steps to split the NSF file based on Sender Email Id.

• Step 9: Choose the third option to split the Lotus Notes NSF file based on Sender Email Id. Click Next.
  
• Step 10: The software loads all the selected Email Ids on the wizard and displays a pop-up Process Complete. Click OK
• Step 11: Here, check the required Sender Email Id you want to select and click the Next button.
  
• Step 12: Click on the Browse button to select the saving location for the output folder(Split NSF files).
  
• Step 13: To break the large NSF file based on Sender Email Id, click on the Split NSF filebutton.
  
• Step 14: Finally, you will find a pop-up tab displaying a message the splitting process for a selected file has been done successfully.
  

Steps to Split NSF Split Based On two Advanced Options

Follow the steps from 1 to 8 and then go along with the below-given steps to split the NSF file based on two advanced options:

• Step 9: Choose one as your requirement: Create a single NSF file for the selected folders or Create a separate NSF file for every selected folder.
  
• Step 10: Here, we perform the further steps by enabling the Create a single NSF file for selected folders option. Click Next.
• Step 11: Assign the directory path of the output folder.
  
• Step 12: Click the Split NSF file to continue the splitting process.
