SysInfo VHD Recovery step by step guide to recover & restore VHD files
Download and launch the SysinfoTools VHD Recovery software. Now choose the disk type of the file which you want to recover. Here we have chosen Dynamic disk type.
Browse the VHD file for recovery from anywhere in your system.
All the information of the file like file format version, size of hard disk, sector per track, head and cylinder will be displayed here. Click “Next” and proceed.
Choose any scan mode from Standard or Advanced. Check GPT Format, if you file support GPT partition. If you want to save your file in the form of image then check “Save disk image” checkbox, otherwise proceed with process and click “Next” button.
Scanning is in process. As the scanning completes, a dialog box will be displayed. Click “OK” to proceed.
A volume list will appear displaying file system within the particular VHD file with volume size and other details. Select the Volume from the list. You can also add custom volume by clicking on “Add custom volume” option or customizes the volume according to you need by "Custom Setting option". You can also click on “Filter Entries” to re-select the file for recovery. Now click “Next”.
Now choose the recovery mode from Standard, Advanced and Deep depending upon severity of corrupt files.
Recovery is in process.
After the recovery completes, a dialog box will appear. Click “OK” to proceed.
All your data will be displayed here. Select the file(s) you want to save and click save button to save your data.
Choose a destination folder to save your data.
Your file is saving. It will be completed in no time.
After the saving process completes, a dialog box will appear indicating “Work done”. Click “OK”. Your file is successfully recovered.
