Step by Step Guide to Apply Protection on a PDF File

  • Step 1: Launch the Sysinfo PDF Protection Tool on your System.

  • Step 2: Click on the Add Files or Add Folder Button to Add the PDF File.

  • Step 3:Choose the PDF File that you want to protect and click on the Open button.

  • Step 4:Now you can view the properties of the PDF file you have Added. Click on the Next Button to Continue.

  • Step 5:Choose the Encryption Level for the PDF file you have added.

  • Step 6: Enter the Owner and User Password in the boxes present on the software.

  • Step 7: You can also give permissions like Allow Content Copying or Extraction, Allow Changing the Document, and Allow Low-Resolution Printing.

  • Step 7 (a): The next three permissions are Allow Authoring Comments and Form Fields, Allow Form Field Fill-in or Signing, and Allow Content Accessibility Enabled.

  • Step 7 (b): The last two permissions are Allow Document Assembly and Allow High-Resolution Printing.

  • Step 8: Then you can edit the Meta Data of the PDF file to which you are applying the Restriction.

  • Step 9: There is also an option to Save Attachments in Sub-Folder. You can tick this option to use it.

  • Step 10: You can apply a new password to a PDF file and even change the passwords of already protected PDF Files.
