Step by Step Guide to use SQL Backup Recovery Tool

  • Step 1: Start the SysInfo SQL Backup Recovery Software on your computer.

  • Step 2: Click on the Browse Button and choose the BAK file that you want to recover.

  • Step 3: Here, you will find two options to manage the SQL backup file(.bak) Single Backup File or Split Backup File(s).

  • Step 4: Use the Software Navigation button to add or remove BAK Files

  • Step 5: Is Selected File(s) Compressed:- Make sure to enable this option if your added File (s) is compressed.

  • Step 6: The software shows you the two scanning modes:
    • Standard More:- Suppose your SQL backup file is less corrupted, then go for the standard Mode option.
    • Advanced Mode:- Suppose your SQL backup file is severely corrupted, then go for the Advanced Mode option.

  • Step 7: Now, browse the saving location where you want to download the resultant files.

  • Step 8: Click on the Extract Files button to continue further.

  • Step 9: A tab pop-ups on your screen, displaying the message: Please make sure Temporary and saving Location have free space 3 times of the actual database file(s).

  • Step 10: Next, you will find the details of the added database select it and click OK.

  • Step 11: The software displays Backup file information like Server Name, Creation Date, Backup Start Date, Backup Finish Date, Database ID, etc.

  • Step 12: You can change the Temporary Path as well if you want to change it.
