Steps to Create a Third-Party App Password
You have to generate an App Password from Yandex Mail Security Settings to Sign-in to SysInfo Yandex Mail Backup Software. Follow the steps to create App Password for Yandex Mail. Once you create the password, you can easily access the Yandex Mail account into other email clients like MS Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.
Note: You have to enable the IMAP option to access the Yandex Mail account via app password.
Step 1: Firstly, login into your Yandex Mail account. ( Mail login)
Step 2: In the opening dashboard, click on the Profile icon.
Step 3: Here, select the Account Management option.
Step 4: Your Yandex Mail profile gets loaded on the screen.
Step 5: Scroll the page and go to the Password and authentication option.
Step 6: Here, click on the Enable app passwords.
Step 7: A tab pop-ups on your screen, and click on the Enable app password. Enter your Yandex account password to verify.
Step 8: Now, click on the App Passwords option.
Step 9: Tab pop-ups; click on the Create a new password button.
Step 10: Choose the app type for which you want to create an app password. Furthermore, enter the Password's Name to access Mail and click on the Create button.
Step 11: Finally, the third-party app password of your Yandex Mail account is created. Copy and store them in some secure directory and click on the Done button.
Steps to Enable IMAP in Yandex Mail Account
Step 1: First of all, log in with your Yandex Mail account. (Yandex Mail login)
Step 2: Now, click on the Setting gear icon and go for All settings.
Step 3: In the All settings wizard, click on the Email Clients option.
Step 4: Next, check the option From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP and click on the Save changes button.
