Download and Install the SysInfo Mail Converter for Zimbra Tool.
Steps to Convert Zimbra Mail Files to PST Format
- Step 1: Install and Run the SysInfo Zimbra Converter Tool as an Administrator.
- Step 2: On the tool panel, you can see the steps to follow in converting Zimbra files. Click on Continue, to begin with the process.
- Step 3: Click on either the Add File or Add Folder option to select and add the Zimbra Mail Email files from your system.
- Step 4: Now, browse for the Zimbra Mail files you want to convert. Click on Open to add the selected Zimbra Files. Hit Next to continue.
- Step 5: After the files are added, click on the Next button to continue.
- Step 6: Now, select the files/folders from the tree structure format. Additionally, preview the added Zimbra files. Then click on the Next button to proceed
further.

Step 7: From the drop-down list, select the PST as the saving format to convert the TGZ files to PST.

Step 8: To select the mails with respect to keywords, check the ‘Select Mails on the Basis of Specified Keywords’ feature. Use the Add and Remove buttons to add and remove the keywords.

Step 9: Use the additional features:
- ‘Remove Duplicates on the basis of Subject, To, From, Body’ to eliminate identical emails, you can choose one or more options among Subject, To, From, and Body.
- Migrate or backup Emails without Attachment Files to create the backup of the files without attachments.

Step 10: Additionally, if you want to filter the emails between dates, check on the Date Filter option. Enter the Start date and End date. Also, you can enter the name of the resultant folder according to your choice in the Custom Folder Name option.
- Step 11: Click on the Path To Save icon
to select the destination location for the output folder.
- Step 12: Click the Convert button to
convert the Zimbra Mail file to PST file format.
- Step 13: A small window will appear stating that the File
has been created successfully. Click on OK to proceed
further.
- Step 14: The conversion process is completed. To download
the report click on Download Report.
Steps to Convert Zimbra Files to PDF Format
Follow steps 1 to 6 as mentioned above and then go along with the below steps to convert Zimbra TGZ Files to PDF:
- Step 15: Choose the PDF File format from
the drop-down menu to convert the Zimbra TGZ file to PDF format.
- Step 16: Use the Select mails on the basis of
specified keywords feature to select the mails concerning
keywords. You can also use the Add and
Remove buttons while adding and removing the keywords.

Step 17: Other additional filters include:
- If you want to remove the identical emails then use the Remove Duplicates on the basis of Subject, To, From, Body feature. You can choose among the options Subject, To, From, Body.
- Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment Files to create the backup of the files without attachments.
- Step 18: You can filter the emails between dates using the Date Filter option. Enter the Start date and End date. Also, you can enter the name of the resultant folder according to your choice in the Custom Folder Name option.

- Step 21: A prompt to notify the successful creation of the file will appear. Click on OK to proceed.
- Step 22: Finally your Zimbra Mail file is converted to PDF format. You can click on the Download Report button for the details of file conversion.
