Follow this step-by-step guide to convert your OLM to MBOX in just no time
Step-1:
Install and Run Software

Launch the OLM to MBOX Converter Tool as an admin on your system.

File Options

Click the buttons:

  • Select OLM Files and Select Folders to add the OLM Files from the system. Or Drag & Drop OLM files directly from the computer.
  • The Remove Selected and Clear List buttons are available to remove unneeded files from the software, added accidentally.

Step-3:
Load OLM Files

Browse the OLM in your system and press Open to add the OLM files to the software wizard. Tap Proceed.

Expand Tree Structure

Once the file is added, click Expand All Folders to check all the files and folders in the OLM file.

Preview Added OLM

Use the Search Folders option to look for a specific folder in the tree by any keyword of choice. Use the Advanced Search option to locate specific emails using a keyword on the basis of To, From, or Subject. Check the email preview in the software.

Select the box for the Open in browser if preview fails option and verify your OLM data.

Select OLM to Convert

Select the files and folders to convert from the expanded tree structure. Use the Collapse All Folders button to close the expanded tree hierarchy. Then, click Proceed.

Choose Saving Format

To convert OLM emails to MBOX file format, select MBOX Mail Archive (.MBOX) from the Export File Format list.

Apply General Settings

You have the choice to explore optional features and filters. These include:

  • Date Range Filter: The user has the option to migrate selective emails in a certain time period with start and end dates.
  • Custom Output Folder Name: Assign a custom name of choice to the newly created folder.
  • Skip Existing Exports: Avoid the OLM files that have already been converted once.

Select Advanced Controls

You can explore a few more filters with the MBOX format:

  • Duplicate Detection: Exclude identical OLM emails based on To, From, Body, Subject, and cc.
  • Attachment Handling: The user has the option to exclude the OLM attachment files, export attachments separately, or embed them into the same file during the migration process.
  • MBOX Segmentation: Choose to create a single MBOX for a folder or specify a size limit in MB or GB.

Step-11:
Select Destination & Convert

Click the Browse button to pick a target location of your choice for the resultant MBOX file. Select the folder and click Open. At last, press Start Export to save the resultant MBOX file.

Conversion Completes

Once the migration is successful, verify the status and click the Close button. Additionally, press the Export Log button to obtain a comprehensive CSV report of the migration. Use Start New Export to restart the process.
