Download SysInfo MBOX Converter Tool and install it on your PC. Run the tool as an administrator. Press Continue.

Choose From:

• Select Profile: To get Thunderbird profiles directly from the system carrying MBOX emails.
• Select MBOX File(s): To add a single MBOX file or multiple MBOX files.
• Select Folder: To add any folder with MBOX files in it.

Click on Select MBOX File(s), locate the files, and select the files that you want to convert. Then, Press Open. If you want to add a folder, choose Select Folder.

Or if you click on Select Profile, only your Thunderbird profile will be added to the tool panel.

You can inspect all your added MBOX files in the tool wizard. If not required, you can remove those files with the options Remove Selected or Clear List.

Once reviewed, you can either select manually or tick the select all to select the files you want to convert. Further, press Proceed.

A tree layout will appear with all the folders having MBOX Files. Click on the Expand All Folders button to see all the folders.

When the tree layout is expanded, you can use the Collapse All button to collapse the structure. Further, you can enter any keyword in the Search Folders option to search desired folder.

Double-click on any folder in the tree, and the content will appear in the table. In the Advanced Search box, you can type any keyword to find the related files. Further, you can sort it based on To, From, and Subject.

Double-click on any Email to check the content within. You can preview the Email with the file content (HTML Body, Plain Text, Headers, MIME, Raw HTML, and Attachment).

In case you want to preview the content and attachments in the browser, use Open in Browser(if preview fails).

Once done with the preview, select the folder from the tree layout to convert and click on Proceed.

In Export File Format, choose Email Message (.EML) in the drop-down menu as the file saving format.

This tool lets you apply some General Settings to simplify the conversion. These are:

• Date Range Filter: To select the date range to convert MBOX Files data for a specific time period.
• File Naming Policy: This option lets you choose how you want to save the output file name. It has multiple criteria, like Subject, Date_Subject, etc.
• Custom Output Folder: This feature enables you to enter the name of your resultant file for easy access.
• Skip Existing Exports: You can skip the previously converted files with this option.

Moving forward, you can select from the advanced controls feature to make the process smooth. Listed as:

• Attachment Handling: You can choose one of three different ways you wanna receive your attachment file: separately, added in same file, or to save the file without attachments.
• Duplicate Detection: This feature allows you to detect duplicate MBOX files based on To, From, Body, Subject, and CC.

Click on the Browse button and specify the output file location where you want to save it.

After that, click on Start Export to convert MBOX files to EML.

Once the conversion is complete, click Close. Then, press Export Log to receive the report in CSV format. Further, you can click on Start New Export to start a new process.
