Steps to Convert the MBOX files into Other Formats
- Step 1: Download and Install the MBOX Exporter Software. Run the software as an Administrator.
- Step 2: The software offers two options for exporting MBOX files in appropriate formats:
- Single File:- You can add a single MBOX file by utilizing File Mode.
- Multiple Files/Folder:- You can add multiple MBOX files from a single folder by utilizing Folder mode.
- Step 3: Here, I select the Multiple Files/Folder option and click the Next button.
- Step 4: Click on the Select Files button to add the MBOX Files from your system.
- Step 5: After adding the MBOX files, preview them and click on the Next button.
- Step 6: Now, the software scans the selected files and shows their data in a tree structure.
- Step 7: Check the folders you want to migrate.
- Step 8: You can also preview the mail and attachments. Click Next.
- Step 9: Here, select the file format from the drop-down list. (Selected file format is PST)
- Step 10: Check the Remove duplicate Mail to remove similar emails from the selected file or folders.
- Step 11: Save In Same Folder:- It will enable you to make the same source and destination for the resultant folder.
Note:- After selecting this option, the Path To Save button gets automatically disabled.
- Step 12: Save MBOX in Same PST:- It allows you to download multiple MBOX files into the same PST.
- Step 13: You can also remove attachments from the MBOX emails.
- Step 14: Mail Filter performs the selective migration of MBOX emails into a specific date range.
- Step 15: Custom Folder Name:- Check this to assign the name of the resultant folder.
- Step 16: Click on these buttons:
- Path To Save:- Click on this to select the destination path for the resultant folder.
- Convert:- Click on this to start MBOX to PST Conversion.
- Step 17: Here, you can also download the report.
Steps to Import MBOX Files into Several Email Clients
Follow the steps from 1 to 8 and then go along with the below steps to import MBOX files into email clients.
- Step 10: Here, select the Email Client from the drop-down list. (Selected Email Client is Gmail).
- Step 11: Sign In using a Gmail email address and third-party app password.
- Step 12: Remove Duplicate Mail:- It helps to remove duplicate emails from the selected file or folders.
- Step 13: The software also allows you to remove the attachment files.
- Step 14: Check the Mail Filter to separate the emails between two date ranges.
- Step 15: Custom Folder Name:- Tick this to enter the name of the output folder.
- Step 16: Click on this to start the MBOX file migration.
- Step 17: Wait until the process gets completed, and you will find pop-ups Conversion gets Completed. Click Ok.
- Step 18: You can also download the report of the process.
