Download the MBOX Converter and install it on your system. Run the tool as an administrator. Tap Continue.

Now, click

• Select Profile: To fetch Thunderbird profiles directly from the system with MBOX emails.
• Select File(s): For adding Single or Multiple Files and
• Select Folder: To insert a Folder with many MBOX emails at once

Further, click Select File(s), browse and locate your MBOX files, select the file to convert, and click Open.

Alternatively, if you press Select Profiles, then only your Thunderbird profile will be added to the panel.

Here, in the window, you can recheck your selected MBOX files. If not required, you can also remove them with the Remove Selected or Clear List buttons.

Once you are confirmed with all the MBOX files uploaded, select those you actually want to convert and click Proceed.

Now, a tree structure appears with all folders within your MBOX file. Use the Expand All Folders button to display all folders.

Once you click, the tree hierarchy is exapned. You can use the Collapse All Folders button to remove expansion. Furthermore, click Search Folders to look for a specific content/folder in the tree structure.

Now, double-click any folder to view its table content. In the Advanced Search box, you can type the specific keyword for which you require the data. Also, you can filter it on the basis of To, From, and Subject.

Double-click on any email from the table to check the content within. You can preview the file content (HTML Body, Plain Text, Headers, MIME, Raw HTML) and attachments along with it.

You can use the Open in Browser (if Preview Fails) option to see the mailbox message content on the web.

Finally, choose the MBOX folders from the tree view to convert and click Proceed to move towards conversion.

Furthermore, this tool provides different file formats to save MBOX files. Select Outlook Data File (.PST) as the file-saving format.

This tool provides you with some common filters for convenience. These are:

• Date Filter: To set a date range for migrating your PST files data for a particular period.
• Naming Convention: With this option, you can choose how you want to set a name for your resultant file. It has multiple criteria as Subject, Date_Subject, etc.
• Custom Output Folder: This feature enables you to selectively input a name for your resultant data for easy access.
• Skip Existing Exports: It allows you to skip the files that have already been converted before and move only the new emails.

Note: The Naming Convention feature is available only with a few file formats.

Some more unique filters that make the conversion beneficial and customized are:

• Attachment Handling: You can choose to secure your attachment files in three different ways: separately, in the same file. Or, you can backup without attachments.
• Duplicate Detection: To skip similar data in the MBOX files on the basis of To, From, Subject, Body, and CC.
• PST Segmentation: To divide large PST files into small PST files. You can specify the size, too by MB or GB.

Other options available when you will either select MBOX or PDF as the saving format are:

• Merger Options for MBOX files: You can merge multiple MBOX files on the basis of the size of each file or combine all MBOX files into one single file.
• Split option for separate MBOX files: You can divide large MBOX files into small files of a specific size as desired.
• PDF Size Restriction: You can set a specific size limit for which you want to save the data in a PDF.

Subsequently, click the Browse button and specify a location to save your output files. Finally, click Start Export to convert MBOX files to PST.

Once the conversion process is completed, click Close. Press Export Log to get the report on your system in CSV format. Moreover, hit Start New Export to restart the process.
