Guide for SysInfo SQL Transaction Log Recovery Tool

Step-1:
Install and Run Tool

Start the SysInfo SQL Transaction Log Recovery Tool as an administrator.

Step-2:
Add LDF File

Browse (...) the LDF File files from the system and click Open to add.

Add MDF File

Next, search and add the MDF files from the system. (It is compulsory to add both MDF and LDF files to continue.)

Check Added Files

Once you browsed the LDF and MDF files in the software, check them if you want to proceed with it. Click Next.

Preview SQL Log File Data

Once the scanning process is done, you can see your recovered data in the preview panel of the software.

Select Folders to Recover

Select the log files and folders you want to save. You can also preview the SQL file version and SQL file collation details here.

Choose to Save

Now, click on the Save button to go on the restoration procedure.

Select Saving Option

Here, you can choose either of the two options:

  • Save in SQL Server Database: Under this option, either select Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication to save the log file directly to the SQL Server Database.
  • Save as SQL Script: Utilize this option and browse for the location to save recovered log files.

Step-9:
Choose Other Options

You can also save the table constraints and enable the operations you want to Save: INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE.

Apply Filter

Additionally, select the Date Range option to download recovered data within a specific time period.

Save Recovered SQL Transaction Log

Click on the Ok button to start the saving process for Transaction log SQL files.

Exit Software

Once the saving process is completed, you will get a dialogue box showing the successful message. Click OK and finally, close the application.
