Browse  Browse: It allows you to add the Maildir files from your system.

Select Files   Select Files: Click this button to add the Maidir files to the software.

Select Folder  Select Folder: Press this to choose the folders from the system.

Remove  Remove: It will exclude the added Maildir files.

Remove All   Remove All: It enables you to remove all the added Maildir files.

Next   Next: Tap on this to move to another process.

Previous  Previous: Click this button to move on to earlier steps.

Path To Save  Path To Save: Tap on this to select the destination path.

Convert  Convert: Press to start the conversion process.

Download Report  Download Report: Tap on this to save the report of Maildir files conversion.

Steps to Convert the Maildir Files into Different File Formats

  • Step 1: Start the Sysinfo Maildir Converter as an Administrator on your PC.

  • Step 2: Now, the software provides you with two options (Single File or Multiple Files/Folders).

  • Step 3: Here, we select the Multiple files/Folders option and then press Next.

  • Step 4: Click on the Select Folder option to select the Maidir files from the system.

  • Step 5: After adding the files to the tool, click the Next button.

  • Step 6: Here, you can view the folders present on your selected Maildir files.

  • Step 7: Check the folders from the tree structure which you want to backup or migrate. You can also preview the content and attachments of a specific email. Click Next.

  • Step 8: Now, select the file format from the drop-down menu of Saves/Backup/Migrate As.

  • Step 10: Check the Remove Duplicate Mail to delete similar emails from the selected Maildir folders.

    Note:- If you select this Save in Same, then the Path To Save is automatically disabled.

  • Step 12: Migrate or Backup emails Without the Attachments files feature to exclude the attachments from the emails.

  • Step 13: Check the split Resultant PST option to break the PST files based on MB or GB.

  • Step 14: Separate the emails between the Start Date and End Date using the Mail Filter.

    • Restore to Default Folder:- It allows you to restore all the Maildir data.
    • Separate PST:- It separates your resultant PST.

    • Path To Save:- Tap on this to select the destination path for the resultant folder.
    • Convert:- Click on the Start the conversion of Maildir files.

Import Maildir files into Email Clients

Follow the steps from 1 to 7 and then go along with the below steps to import Maildir files into other email clients.

  • Step 8: Now, choose the email client from the drop-down list of Saves/Backup/Migrate As. (Selected email client is Gmail).
