Perform the Step-by-Step Process Excel Recovery Software Guide

Step-1:
Install and Run the Tool

Download and Install SysInfo Excel File Recovery Software on your PC. Run it as an administrator.

Select Single Excel File

Choose the Select Single File radio button to recover a single Excel (.xls or .xlsx) file. Press the Browse button to any corrupted or damaged Excel file from the system.

Browse the XLS File

Select an Excel File from the system and click Open. Press Next to proceed.

Preview the File

When you have selected a single Excel file, you get an option to preview the Excel records in a grid form. You can choose the sheet from the Select Grid list Press on the Show Preview button to preview the records.

Or Add Multiple Excel Files

Otherwise, you can also opt for the Select Multiple Files option on the first panel of the tool. Click on Next to select more than one Excel file for recovery at once.

Add Files

Further, to select multiple Excel files, click on the Add Files button. Or you can click on Search Files to choose files from a particular folder.

Browse & Open

Choose corrupt Excel files from the system and click Open.

Option to Remove

Once files are added to the tool, you can see the list of files appearing. Clicking the Remove or Remove All button you can choose to eliminate the desired file. Then, click on Next to proceed.

Select Features

Now, exclusively for XLSX files, you have two options: Recreate Approach and Save Media. Both options are selected by default, you can deselect them if not needed. Recreate the Approach to Repair and recreate the Excel file. Whereas, to save media files of Excel data separately, you can opt for the Save Media option.

Step-10:
Destination Path

In the Save File Path section, click on the browse button (...) and choose a desired saving location. Click Ok

Save the Recovered XLS File

Lastly, click on the Save button to start saving the recovered data.
