1. Open MS Outlook and navigate to File > Info > Add Account.
2. Select the Manual setup or additional server types option and click Next.
   
3. Now, select POP or IMAP and click Next.
   
4. After that, add the account and Yahoo mail server information as follows.
5. For User Information, enter the first and last name.
6. For Server Information, give Account Type as IMAP and Incoming mail server as imap.mail.yahoo.com and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) as smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
7. On the Login Information, mention the login credentials of Yahoo profile.
8. Then, click More Settings and select the Outgoing Server tab.
9. Check the option to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
