Protect PDF Files

     
 
Protect PDF Files
   
  1. Click Start > All Programs > SysInfoTools PDF Manager > SysInfoTools PDF Manager.
    Main window of the software will appear.Select the Protect button to continue.



  2. Click on Select file button to select the PDF file that you want to protect.



  3. Select the PDF file which tou want to protect



  4. Selected file is listed in the main window, then click on the Next button.



  5. Selected file is listed in the main window, then click on the Next button.



  6. Click on Browse button to select the destination folder where you want to save the output PDF file.



  7. Now apply advance setting and click on ok button.


    Meanings of the options available are:-

    1.Content Copying or Extraction  
    Allow: Content Copying or Extraction  
    Content Extraction for Accessibility  
     
    2.Changing the Document  
    Allow: Changing the Document  
    Document Assembly  
    Filling of form fields  
    Signing  
    Creation of Template pages  
     
    3. Low Resolution Printing  
    Allow: Printing  
     
    4. Authoring Comments and Form Fields  
    Allow: Commenting  
    Filling of form fields  
    Signing  
     
    5. Form Field Fill-in or Signing  
    Allow: Filling of form fields  
    Signing  
    Creation of Template Pages  
     
    6.Content Accessibility Enabled  
    Allow: Content Extraction for Accessibility
     
    7.Document Assembly  
    Allow: Document Assembly  
     
    8. High Resolution Printing  
    Allow: High Resolution Printing when the item 'Low Resolution Printing' is checked

    Owner Password-Set the Owner Password for the encrypted document. Opening the document with the correct owner password allows full access to the document.
    User Password- Set the User Password for the generated PDF document. Opening the document with the correct user password allows additional operations to be performed according to the user access permissions specified in the document's encryption dictionary.
    There are two type of encryption that can be set when protecting a PDF file.

    Low (Acrobat 3.0 and later): Set the level to 40bit.  

     

    High (Acrobat 5.0 and later): Set the level to 128bit.  

    After selecting, the appropriate settings click on the Ok button.

  8. Click on Protect PDF file Button to Protect the PDF file.



  9. Protection Process is completed. Click on the blue link to see the destination folder where Protected PDF file is saved.
