Please help me. Last week I have created few database files. A large contacts list is there. But now when I try to contact them I become unable to find the location. I don't know why this is happening to me. Please help me.

What you are trying to search? Contacts list or the database files, which you have created? If missing database files is your problem, you may try to search them by using Windows serach option. It is a built-in serach tool for all Windows operation systems. Try it. Type the name of your files with file extension .odb. You will get them.
Hope this will help you.

I searched and found several xyz.odb files, but not those ones what I'm looking for.

You may try this:
  1. Start your OpenOffice.org program.
  2. From the Menu option, click on Tools > Options.
  3. Now click on OpenOffice.org Base to expand it. You can see it on the left side.
  4. Click on Databases. By clicking on it, you will see:
*The registered name of your database files.
*The file directory and file names of your registered database files.
Hope this will help you to find your database files what you're looking for.
Regards. :)
