How to insert Audio in Powerpoint 2010?

Postby SteveJ » Mon May 12, 2014 9:58 am

In PowerPoint 2010 I want to insert an audio clip and have it play over only a specific number of slides. There does not seem to be a way to do this. Even when I use the trim option and set a specific time, the audio stops when I move to the next slide. And, of course, setting it to play across slides makes it play across ALL slides. Is there any way to set it to play a specific clip across only a specific number of slides
Thanks.

Hi,

To insert audio in power-point just Set it play across slides
Now go to Animation tab and open the Animation Pane and Double click the entry for sound and you will see it is set to stop playing after 999 slides. Change the number as you wish.

Thank you
