How can create a group?

For some reason I cannot create a group. I can email, add contacts but when I go to create a group it just gives me a quick circle. I have tried reinstalling Office, but am have the same result.
I am going to try to back up my .pst etc from my laptop and replace the files on my new computer in the Outlook folder. See if that works. Other than that ?

Can you bee more specific?

When you select "New Contact group" and window appears, are you unable to add members or from the Add members drop down? If you are able to add Contacts, do they have valid email addresses? When do you receive the circle and where does the circle appear?

This is an interesting scenario to say the least. It is possible your OST or current default folder file, PST, has become corrupted or your current email profile. Another solution could be you no longer have your Offline Address Book.

You e-mail account, is it on an exchange server?
