How to use IF() in OpenOffice ?

Postby UniSET » Mon Aug 04, 2014 10:11 am

Hello,

I'm looking for a formula to enter to solve the following :

If A2 > A3, then B2 (where will be pasted the formula) must be = A4-A3.

If A2 < A3, then B2 must be = 0

Could you help me write this?
Thanks in Advance,
UniSET

Hello

To use IF() in OpenOffice please try:
Code: Select all
=IF(A2>A3;A4-A3;0)

Notice that if A2=A3 you will get 0. If that is not what you want, change it to
Code: Select all
=IF(A2>=A3;A4-A3;0)

Thanks
