I use a spreadsheet at work on excel and it works perfectly. I now work for a new company who use Open Office and the formula does not work.
Would someone be able to help me, I have very little knowledge of Open Office and limited knowledge of excel so please explain in as much detail as possible.
The formula i am currently using on excel is =VLOOKUP(LEFT(E10,70)&"**",Lists!$B$1:$F$203,2,0)
Basically if I select an item from a drop down list in cell E10, this puts a value that relates to the item selected in cell F10. The drop down list and the value that relates to it is stored on a different page(tab) named Lists.
