Convert OpenOffice Math documents into MS Word format.

Postby LEIEXA » Mon Nov 19, 2012 4:59 am

Hi friends. I've made some documents in OpenOffice Math, something around 40. I need to convert them into MS Word file format, but really I have no idea about this. What I'm looking here is a method or a freeware to convert my ODF documents into MS Word format. Thanks for your help. :)

So sorry to let you know that SysInfoTools has nothing for this matter. You need to search some freeware or paid programs on Google or other search engine. You'll get some effective programs. :)

It's very simple. All you need to do save your documents in MS Word format (.doc or .docx) according to your version.
Hope this will help you. :geek:

I can't save them to MS Word format as I'm using OpenOffice. These documents can only be saved into ODF, SXM and MML format. There isn't any option to save them into MS Word format.

You may try to insert your ODF documents to OpenOffice Writer document. This might be helpful for you. After importing them to Writer you can easily save them to .doc or .docx.

How to insert them to OpenOffice Writer? I have no idea, shall I copy the content from ODF and paste them to Writer documents?

Just follow these simple steps:
  1. Open your OpenOffice Writer.
  2. Now select Menu Item > Insert > Object > OLE .
  3. Select option Create from file.
  4. Now browse to your Math file, and select accept.
This will help you to import your ODF documents to OpenOffice Writer. And once you imported all your ODF documents in Writer, then you can easily save them to .doc or .docx format. Good luck.
