Screen hides the taskbar after maximizing it.

Postby mick_N.G » Fri Nov 23, 2012 6:25 am

Hi friends. I have Win XP installed in my home system. Whenever I maximize any window it displays on the whole screen. Due to this the taskbar gets full covered. But when I press Win button taskbar becomes normal, I mean it get appeared. This frustrates me a lot. Does anybody know how to avoid this?
Thanks in advance.

It seems some settings problem. You may try this:
* For Win XP users:
  1. Right-click on the Start button.
  2. Click on Properties.
  3. A pop-up window will be appeared. Click on Taskbar. You need to do some modifications there if needed.
  4. If Auto-hide the taskbar box is checked, then uncheck it. And make sure that Keep the taskbar on top of other windows box is checked. If it's unchecked, then check it.
  5. Now click on Apply, and then OK.

* For Win 7 users:
  1. Right-click on the Start button.
  2. Click on Properties.
  3. A pop-up window will be appeared. Click on Taskbar. You need to do some modifications there if needed.
  4. If Auto-hide the taskbar box is checked, then uncheck it. Scroll down the arrow on front of Taskbar location on screen.
  5. You may select the location where you want to set the Taskbar on the screen, for e.g. Bottom, Left, Right and Top.
  6. Now click on Apply, and then OK.
Hope this information will be helpful.
Regards. :)
