It seems my hard disk is broken.

Postby Gravial » Fri Nov 02, 2012 5:42 am

Hi to all.
I'm having problem with my system hard disk drive. Whenever I start Windows, it starts normally then turns into a black screen. No logo of "Starting Windows", nothing like that. I've tried to format my computer several times to no avail. Some are saying that my HDD has broken. Is that so? Please help me.

Hi, I have moved this topic from Data Recovery Forum to General PC Troubleshooting Forum. I hope you don't mind. Anyway, we will help you. But before, you need to mention here the full specification of your computer system.
Regards. :)

What's the size of your hard disk? You haven't mentioned the main thing? Are you using more than 1 HDD?

I will recommend you to perform a diagnostic test of your system. And let's see what comes out?
