How to make an executable file ?

Postby Micheal T. Leo » Sat Nov 15, 2014 5:38 am

Hello-

I did try a search for this because I am sure it has been asked and answered
but I couldn't find anything. I need to make an executable file from an impress
slide show that can run on a website.

Any help appreciated.

welcome to the SysInfoTools forum!

Sorry this is not supported.

OO Impress can export a pdf file, which you can offer as a downloadable file. The pdf document cannot provide animations or transitions, it will have static pages only.

That could work for me. I did have a video 'embedded' in my impress presentation but
I can just send an accompanying link. Thanks!

OpenOffice can also export a presentation as html, ready to be added to a web site. Each slide is converted to an image and the viewer can step through the images by clicking on the navigation buttons.
