Once you’ve successfully located the scanpst.exe utility, double-click its executable file to launch the Microsoft Inbox Repair tool. Now follow the simple steps shown below:
Step 1: On the Microsoft Inbox Repair tool window, click the Browse button and select the corrupt PST file.
Step 2: The selected PST file will be listed in the edit box.
Now click the Start button to scan the corrupt PST file.
Step 3: The scanning process is being conducted on your system.
Don’t cancel it.
Step 4: Within a couple of minutes, the selected PST file will be scanned successfully.
You can now check the error report.
Step 5: Finally, click the Repair button to repair the PST file.
